We are thrilled to introduce a new addition to our weekly newsletter, the Members in Motion report. If you have recently noticed this new feature, you might be wondering about its origin. Well, it’s a testament to how we are leveraging technology to improve your experience and streamline our operations.
The Members in Motion report is the outcome of an exciting new development process that combined RAHB’s commitment to efficiency and innovation with the powerful capabilities of OpenAI’s large language models. Before we dive into the details, let’s take a step back and look at the journey that led us to this point.

Prior to the creation of this automated report, a dedicated RAHB staff member had to manually gather and compile data into a report—a task that took approximately 10-15 minutes each week. Although this doesn’t seem like a huge chunk of time, when you consider the opportunity cost of focusing on other core operations and member engagement, it begins to add up. Moreover, we knew we had the technological tools at our disposal to automate this process and make it even more efficient.
That’s where OpenAI’s large language models came into play. With the help of ChatGPT 4 Code Interpreter plugin, we were able to rapidly develop an automated solution for generating the Members in Motion report. The system now pulls CSV data from specified URLs, generates a PDF report, and dispatches it via SendGrid—all without any manual intervention.
Not only has this automation made our operations more efficient, but it has also improved the report’s accuracy and consistency. We are now able to deliver you timely and precise updates about our community’s movements and growth week after week.

Moreover, the Members in Motion report is not a standalone project. We have been integrating AI Assistant workflows in several areas of our operations.
